Sekolah Vokasi UGM kembali menyelenggarakan konferensi internasional “ICTSD” untuk ke-3 kalinya pada hari Kamis-Jum’at, 2-3 November 2023 secara daring. International Conference on Technology for Sustainable Development merupakan agenda konferensi internasional yang diselenggarakan dua tahun sekali untuk mengakomodasi peneliti dari berbagai disiplin ilmu untuk dapat saling berbagi dan berkolaborasi terkait inovasi dalam Tujuan Pembangunan Berkelanjutan atau Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

We are pleased to invite you to The 2nd International Conference on Technology for Sustainable Development (ICSTD2021) organized by Vocational College, Universitas Gadjah Mada.
ICTSD 2021 provides an academic platform for researchers to present the latest innovation and research findings, especially for overcoming challenges in the new era caused by SARS COV-2 or Covid-19. The pandemic has disrupted various aspects of human life, hindering or decelerating the effort to achieve Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). On the other hand, researchers have proactively conducted various studies as signs of the human struggle to overcome the disruption.
Therefore, Vocational College Universitas Gadjah Mada conducts the second International Conference on Technology for Sustainable Development (ICTSD) 2021 with the theme “Challenges and Applied Innovations for Accelerating the SDGs.” ICTSD 2021 accommodates various scientific disciplines that provide a platform; hence the researchers can interact with each other.
Due to an uncertain COVID-19 situation, this year, the conference will be conducted virtually.
The scientific disciplines are divided into 3 clusters, namely:
1. Agrotechnology and Environment
2. Socio economic-humanities
3. Science and Technology

PUBLICATION
Selected papers will be published in conference proceedings indexed by Scopus or other databases.

Sekolah Vokasi UGM untuk pertama kalinya menyelenggarakan konferensi internasional “ICTSD” pada Hari Jum’at-Sabtu, 12-13 Oktober 2018 di Hotel East Parc Yogyakarta. International Conference on Technology & Sustainable Development yang pertama ini mengusung tema “The Role of Higher Education in Disruptive Era”.
Pembicara yang dihadirkan dalam konferensi ini yakni Prof. Kazuhiro Harada dari Nagoya University Japan, Dr. Digby Race dari University of Sunshine Coast Australia, Dr. Robert de Souza dari Executive Director The Logistics Institute-Asia Pacific Singapore, Prof. San Afri Awang Ph.D dari Universitas Gadjah Mada Indonesia, Mr. Santoso dari Bank Central Asia, Dr. Anggito Abimanyu dari Universitas Gadjah Mada Indonesia, Mr. Suprapto Suwaji, SE, MM, CPSCM dari Indonesia Logistics and Forwarders Association, Dr. Eng. Ahmad Rusdiansyah dari Institut Teknologi Sepuluh November Indonesia, Mr. Shen Jingqiao dari Chengdu Textille College China, Mr. Roger Teo dari Cybermax Asia Pte Ltd. Jakarta-Singapura, Mr. Ade Ahmad Yani dari PT. Pan Brothers Tbk., dan Mr. Bhima Yudhistira Adhinegara, M.Sc. dari Institute for Development of Economics and Finance.
Konferensi internasional ini mengakomodasi empat kluster yakni:
Jalannya ICTSD tidak lepas dari kerja sama dengan Politeknik Ilmu Pelayaran (PIP) Semarang dan dukungan dari BCA. Acara ini diawali dengan pembukaan dengan lagu Indonesia Raya, tarian tradisional dari Gasita Tari (Bahasa Inggris Sekolah Vokasi UGM), dilanjutkan dengan sambutan dari Dr. Silvi Nur Oktalina (Wakil Dekan III SV UGM) selaku ICTSD Chairman dan Bp. Nashri, MT selaku Wakil Dekan I PIP Semarang. Acara kemudian dibuka secara resmi dengan pemukulan gong oleh Wakil Rektor Bidang Pendidikan, Pengajaran, dan Kemahasiswaan UGM, Prof. Dr. Ir. Djagal Wiseso Marseno, M.Agr. Selanjutnya, keynote speech disampaikan oleh Bp. Wikan Sakarinto, Ph.D. selaku Dekan Sekolah Vokasi UGM yang membahas tentang Industri 4.0 dan peran pendidikan tinggi untuk mencetak lulusan yang inovatif.
“In order to increase our export to support the economy of this nation, we have to create innovative graduates,” terang beliau.
Agenda dilanjutkan dengan sesi panel per kluster yang diselenggarakan setelah ibadah solat Jumat. Di hari kedua, presentasi dari para peserta konferensi akan dilaksanakan sesuai kluster masing-masing.
Sebagaimana Seminar Nasional Teknologi Terapan yang dilaksanakan secara rutin oleh Sekolah Vokasi UGM, konferensi internasional ini direncanakan untuk diselenggarakan setiap dua tahun sekali mulai tahun 2018 ini.
