YOGYAKARTA, 23 September 2025 – Sekolah Vokasi Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) sukses menggelar Pameran Inovasi Vokasi sebagai rangkaian utama INOVOKASIA 2025. Kegiatan yang berlangsung pada 22–23 September 2025 di Gelanggang Inovasi dan Kreativitas (GIK) UGM ini menyedot perhatian publik dengan menghadirkan lebih dari 3.400 pengunjung selama dua hari penyelenggaraan. Mengusung tema “Creative Sustainability”, pameran ini menampilkan 24 produk inovasi vokasi dari sembilan satuan pendidikan vokasi, mulai dari jenjang SMK, akademi komunitas, hingga perguruan tinggi. INOVOKASIA 2025 menjadi ruang kolaboratif yang mempertemukan kreativitas mahasiswa, pendidik, komunitas, dan industri dalam mendorong transformasi pendidikan vokasi Indonesia.

Yogyakarta, September 26, 2025 – Sekolah Vokasi Universitas Gadjah Mada (SV UGM) officially opened its 16th Anniversary Celebration on Friday (26/9) at the southern parking area of the Teaching Industry Learning Center (TILC) UGM.
Carrying the theme “Building Impactful Applied Bachelor, Master, and Doctoral Programs”, the event marks Sekolah Vokasi UGM’s commitment to strengthening its role in providing high-quality and socially beneficial vocational education.

The celebration began with a Zumba session led by instructor Zin Dante, symbolizing enthusiasm, unity, and support for Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 3: Good Health and Well-being.
The event was officially opened by Masters of Ceremony, Vinsen Kevin and Hana Ariella, both students of Sekolah Vokasi UGM.

In his report, Dr. Leo Indra Wardhana, M.Sc., CFP., GRCE., Vice Dean for Academic and Student Affairs and Chairperson of the 16th Anniversary, emphasized the importance of the Dies Natalis as a moment of reflection.

“This 16th Dies Natalis is a moment of reflection and commitment to developing applied education that is academically relevant and provides real contributions to society and national development,” he said.

He added that the anniversary series includes not only celebrations but also impactful activities, such as Lentera Vokasi (community service), sports festivals, health workshops, and a national seminar.

Meanwhile, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Ir. Agus Maryono, IPM., ASEAN Eng., Dean of Sekolah Vokasi UGM, outlined the college’s strategic vision.

“This year’s theme reaffirms our commitment to building impactful applied bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral programs. Vocational students should not stop at theory but must engage directly through practice, community service, and applied projects. This way, Sekolah Vokasi UGM graduates are always ready to be part of the nation’s solutions,” he remarked.

The opening ceremony was marked by the symbolic cutting of the tumpeng (traditional cone-shaped rice dish) by the Dean, the Anniversary Chair, and the Senate representative, witnessed by university leaders, partners, and invited guests.
The celebration continued with karaoke performances, door prizes, and free health and eye check-ups for the SV UGM academic community, supported by students of the Master of Public Health Program (FK-KMK UGM) and RSUP Dr. Sardjito Hospital.

The event also received strong support from sponsors, including PT Riau Andalan Pulp and Paper, Reflection Photography, At Home, and banking partners such as BNI, BCA, BRI, BSI, BPD DIY, Bank Mandiri, and BPR UGM.

Semarang, 21 September 2025 – Dekan Sekolah Vokasi Universitas Gadjah Mada (SV UGM), Prof. Agus Maryono, menghadiri Wisuda Program Diploma III Teknik Sipil (Bangunan) Politeknik PU (PU TECH) Semarang pada Sabtu (21/9). Kunjungan ini merupakan kunjungan balasan atas kedatangan Direktur Politeknik PU ke Sekolah Vokasi UGM sebelumnya, sekaligus memperkuat sinergi antara kedua institusi pendidikan tinggi vokasi.

Liuzhou, China, September 18, 2025 – The Dean of Sekolah Vokasi Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), Prof. Dr.-Ing. Ir. Agus Maryono, IPM., ASEAN Eng., conducted a working visit to Liuzhou, China, from September 14–18, 2025. The visit aimed to strengthen international networks and open up strategic collaboration opportunities in vocational education, applied research, and sustainable technology.

Liuzhou, China, 18 September 2025 – Dekan Sekolah Vokasi Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), Prof. Agus Maryono, melakukan kunjungan kerja ke Liuzhou, China, pada 14–18 September 2025. Kunjungan ini bertujuan memperkuat jejaring internasional sekaligus membuka peluang kerjasama strategis dalam bidang pendidikan vokasi, riset terapan, dan teknologi berkelanjutan.

Yogyakarta, 9 September 2025 – Sekolah Vokasi Universitas Gadjah Mada (SV UGM) melalui Program Studi Bahasa Inggris berperan sebagai co-host penyelenggaraan The 4th International Conference of Research on Language (IRoLe) 2025. Konferensi internasional ini digelar pada 8–10 September 2025 di Teaching Industry Learning Center (TILC) SV UGM dengan tema “The Roles of Multilingualism and Multiculturalism in Achieving the Sustainable Development Goals across the Archipelago.”

Yogyakarta, 9 September 2025. Dr. Wildan Fajar Bachtiar, S.T., M.S., dosen Pengembangan Produk Agroindustri di SV, bersama tim penelitiannya, mengumumkan publikasi artikel mereka yang berjudul “Halal Food Sustainable Traceability: A Multi-Group Consumer-Centric Acceptance and Preference Analysis.” Artikel ini diterima pada 20 Desember 2024, direvisi pada 23 Maret 2025, dan diterima pada 26 April 2025, serta telah menarik perhatian signifikan di bidang penelitian makanan halal.
