Overview

Agro Industry Product Development study program is committed to preparing applied scholars in the agro-industry sector who are skilled in assessing problems of existing products, developing products and packaging, assessing product feasibility, also to scale up the production. Graduates are equipped with various competencies for certification: Good Manufacturing Practices, HACCP, Quality Assurance and Food Safety, Halal Supervisors, and Product Design. Learning program is creatively applied by doing the teaching industry method at our Cacao Incubation Learning Center, Teaching Industry Learning Center, and Field Research Center. Study program has a collaboration with various food industries in Indonesia (such as PT Mayora, PT Nutrifood, etc.) for Field Work Practices, practical lecturers, practitioner lecturers and industrial internships.

Career Prospects

Our school’s graduates have many opportunities to work in the field of product development and agro-industrial packaging, supervise or have the authority to monitor all product development activities in food and beverages industry, Food and Agriculture Department, Industry and Commerce Department, Drugs and Food Control Agency, Indonesian Institute of Sciences, Study and Development of Agricultural Technology Center, also Assessment and Application of Technology Center. In addition, they have entrepreneurial opportunities to provide professional consulting services in the field of product development.
