The Applied Master's Program in Occupational Safety and Health (M.Tr K3) at the Vocational School of Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) is Indonesia's first applied master's program in this field. Established under Rector's Decree No. 665/UN1.P/KPT/HUKOR/2023, it awards graduates the title M.Tr KKK. The program prepares students for roles as safety managers, safety consultants, and safety innovators.

Program Highlights:

1. Competent Safety Managers: Graduates will be skilled in leadership, communication, analysis, risk management, and applied OSH techniques, demonstrated through abilities in leadership, auditing, problem-solving, and innovation to prevent incidents.
2. Multidisciplinary Intake: The program accepts students from various academic backgrounds, including bachelor's or applied bachelor's degree holders (S1, S.Tr, D4) from diverse disciplines.
3. Comprehensive Curriculum: Offers elective courses focused on risk analysis and assessment, followed by internships and thesis completion in the same field and workplace, aligning with the student's expertise or interest.
4. Innovative Thesis Projects: Theses involve prototypes, design works, products, or technological innovations, aiming for Intellectual Property Rights and/or scientific article publications.
