Recognition of Prior Learning
The organizers of Type A RPL for Sekolah Vokasi UGM are all study programs that have graduated students or have been declared eligible on the Recognition of Prior Learning E-Recommendation System (SIERRA) page, have sufficient human resource capacity and adequate facilities and infrastructure to organize the RPL program.
The following is a list of Applied Undergraduated study programs at Sekolah Vokasi UGM that have been able to organize the Type A RPL program:

- General requirements for prospective Applied Undergraduate students of the RPL program include:
- Have a diploma of at least Diploma III from a study program accredited at least B or Very Good.
- Have a minimum GPA of 2.50.
- Declared to have passed the RPL program selection.
- Special requirements: Special requirements for prospective Applied Undergraduated students of the RPL program for each study program are determined by each study program as long as they do not conflict with the UGM Rector’s Regulation regarding RPL and the general requirements stated above. The list of requirements for each study program is as follows:

Documents of learning outcomes originating from Formal Education in the form of:
- diploma from the university of origin;
- transcript of grades accompanied by descriptions of each course from the university of origin;
- certificate of study program accreditation from the university of origin.
Documents of learning outcomes originating from Non-Formal, Informal Education and/or Work Experience, include:
- Curriculum Vitae;
- Certificate of expertise issued by a Professional Association/LSP/other nationally or internationally recognized Training Institution;
- Certificate of course/training issued by a university;
- Certificate of course/training issued by an industry or company;
- Awards from industry or other credible institutions;
- Membership in a professional association;
- Monumental works or published scientific works;
- Written reports from supervisors/superiors;
- Daily logs of work activities (log book);
- Examples of reports or documents made by prospective participants;
- Completed self-assessment forms;
- Other documents proving that prospective participants have certain relevant and sufficient experience/expertise/knowledge towards the learning achievement standards/competencies applied for; and
- Other documents to support the completeness of requirement for RPL Type A.
The purpose of this stage is for candidates to independently assess the level of proficiency of each performance criterion of learning outcomes of the course or learning module and provide the evidence needed to support their claim of professional level. Fill in each performance criterion or learning achievement on the following pages according to the level of proficiency that you have. You must be honest in making this assessment.
Note: If you feel confident in your ability to achieve proficiency in each performance criterion or learning achievement described on the following pages, please attach valid, authentic, current, and adequate evidence to support your claim of achieving good and/or very good proficiency.
Identify your level of proficiency in terms of performance or learning achievement criteria using the following answers:
a. Proficiency/ability is “very good” if:
• I performed this task very well;
• I mastered this study material very well; or
• I have this skill, I have used it in 20 jobs precisely without any mistakes.
b. Proficiency/ability is “good” if:
• I performed this task well;
• I mastered this study material well; or
• I have these skills, and sometimes use it at work.
c. Proficiency/ability is “never” if:
• I have never done this task;
• I am not familiar with this study material; or
• I don’t have this skill.
Evidence that can be used to support your claim for achieving good and/or excellent proficiency includes:
a. Diploma and/or transcript of grades from courses taken at previous higher education levels (specifically for credit transfers);
b. Work history with details of tasks performed;
c. Competency certificate;
d. Operating certificate/license that matches the job position held;
e. Photos of work performed and job descriptions;
f. Diary;
g. Assignment sheets/worksheets when working at the company;
h. Analysis/design documents (partial or complete) when working at the company;
i. Work logbook;
j. Training records at the workplace;
k. Membership of relevant professional associations;
l. References/letters of reference/third-party verification reports from employers/supervisors;
m. Awards from industry; and
n. Performance appraisals from the company.
