The Center of Excellence (CoE) Smart & Green Building Information at Universitas Gadjah Mada Sekolah Vokasi UGM successfully organized a Building Information Modeling (BIM) training on road infrastructure on January 27 and 29, 2026. The activity was held in Room 504 of the Teaching Industry Learning Center (TILC) Building, Sekolah Vokasi UGM. The training was attended by five participants from various groups within the Sekolah Vokasi UGM, including students, academic staff, and lecturers from the Department of Earth Technology and the Department of Civil Engineering. The program aimed to enhance participants’ understanding and skills in applying BIM technology for road infrastructure planning and modeling.

The training was facilitated by trainers from the Academy of Spatial & BIM, covering the use of several BIM software applications, namely Autodesk Revit, Autodesk Civil 3D, and Autodesk InfraWorks. During the session, participants received both theoretical instruction and hands-on practice in infrastructure modeling, particularly for roads and bridges, by applying BIM principles in an integrated digital infrastructure design process.
Through this activity, participants are expected to be able to apply BIM technology in both academic and professional settings. The training also reflects the commitment of the Center of Excellence Smart & Green Building Information at Universitas Gadjah Mada Sekolah Vokasi UGM in supporting the development of human resources who are adaptive to advancements in digital construction technology and sustainable development.
The event concluded with the handover of a training kit from the Academy of Spatial & BIM to the Center of Excellence Smart & Green Building Information at Universitas Gadjah Mada Sekolah Vokasi UGM.
