Yogyakarta, July 25, 2025 — In the spirit of creating a clean, healthy, and comfortable campus environment for new students for the 2025/2026 Academic Year, Sekolah Vokasi UGM (SV) held a community service activity together with the UGM Directorate of Assets. This activity took place on Friday morning at 7:30 a.m. Western Indonesian Time, starting from the north lobby of the SV Central Building.

The community service focused on the front yard of SV Flat, which faces directly onto the Pantja Dharma Building—the front face of the campus that will be the first point of view for new students and guests. The cleaning was carried out thoroughly as part of SV UGM’s commitment to supporting a healthy and representative campus env
This event was also attended by Nurudin Basyori, S.P., Head of the Landscape Maintenance, Cemetery, Cleanliness, and Waste Management Team of the UGM Asset Directorate, and Prof. Dr.-Ing. Ir. Agus Maryono, IPM., ASEAN.Eng., Dean of Sekolah Vokasi UGM. The presence of these two leaders strengthened the spirit of mutual cooperation and concern for the cleanliness of the campus environment.

“This community service is part of the Health Promoting University spirit. We want to welcome new students with a clean, beautiful, and pleasant campus environment,” said Prof. Agus Maryono.
Since early morning, participants consisting of educators, lecturers, and the Cleaning Service (CS) team have been enthusiastically cleaning the grass, sweeping the yard, and transporting trash using various tools such as sickles, lawn mowers, and portable trash bins.
“The front yard of the campus reflects our readiness to welcome the new generation. It’s not just about cleanliness, but also our commitment to creating a healthy and friendly campus,” said one of the participants.
This activity not only beautifies the environment but also strengthens cross-unit cooperation within the SV UGM environment. It is hoped that a clean and healthy campus will create a positive impression and support the comfort and well-being of the entire academic community, especially new students who are about to begin their academic journey.
