Yogyakarta, October 7, 2025 – Sekolah Vokasi Universitas Gadjah Mada (SV UGM) has established a strategic collaboration with the Regional Development Planning, Research, and Innovation Agency (Bappedalitbang) of Lubuk Linggau City to prepare a Feasibility Study for the Lubuk Linggau Industrial Area in South Sumatra Province. The signing ceremony for the cooperation agreement and Type II self-management contract took place in Room 201, Teaching Industry Learning Center (TILC) Building, attended by representatives from both institutions.

The Pacific Asia Society (PAS) is set to host its World Friends Korea Summer Program 2025 at Gadjah Mada University (UGM) in Yogyakarta. This exciting event took place from July 7 to July 18, 2025, at the Department of Foreign Language, Arts, and Cultural Management, Vocational College of UGM. After several postponements due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the PAS team is thrilled to return to UGM, where they have previously conducted successful programs.

Gunungkidul, July 2025 — Lecturers from the Travel and Tourism Business Study Program at Gadjah Mada University (UGM) have developed a tourist guide for use by local guides on the “Grogol Kaloka Experience” Cultural Tour in Grogol Village, Paliyan District, Gunungkidul Regency. This guide serves as the primary resource for local guides accompanying participants in the 2025 Road to Jogja International Kite Festival (JIKF) during the two-hour cultural tour.

Yogyakarta, 19th May 2025 – A total of 25 students from the Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS), along with 2 teachers, engaged in a profound cross-cultural experience as part of the Short Term Immersion Programme SUSS x SV UGM. This program, a collaboration between SUSS and Sekolah Vokasi Universitas Gadjah Mada (SV UGM), spanned nine days from May 8 to 16, 2025. The activity is part of the Interdisciplinary Global Learning Course (NIE351), which carried the theme “Discovering the Power of Storytelling for Self-Development and Community Building.”
