Twenty participants attended the training, including administrators, members, and partners of Kadisoro Tourism Village.

In a significant initiative to promote cultural tourism, the Tour & Travel Study Program (Bisnis Perjalanan Wisata) of the Vocational School at Universitas Gadjah Mada has partnered with Grogol Tourism Village in Gunungkidul to develop a culture-based event tourism package called “Kanca Budaya.” This innovative package aims to attract both domestic and international tourists by offering a variety of cultural activities that showcase the region’s rich heritage.

This activity aims to strengthen the village’s branding strategy while increasing the capacity of community resources to manage cultural events.
In July 2024, the Tour & Travel Business Study Program (Bisnis Perjalanan Wisata) at the Vocational School of Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) conducted a market validation trial for live-in tour packages in Grogol Tourism Village. This event took place on July 5-6, 2024, in collaboration with UGM’s International Affairs Office. The program involved ten international students from various countries, including Tanzania, Cambodia, East Timor, the Philippines, Colombia, Rwanda, and Gambia.
