Vocational College UGM exhibited several excellent products of Vocational College in Hall A Booth No. J-34, including Video and City Model 3D System, BIM for roads and bridges, and Road Condition Monitoring System and GENDING (Heritage BIM) from the Department of Earth Technology; RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) Robot from the Department of Electrical and Information Engineering; and Porous Concrete, Rainwater Harvester Miniature, and 1 set of Rainwater Harvester from the Department of Civil Engineering.
The Vocational College booth was manned by several Vocational College lecturers, such as Irkhas Bayu Faveryan and Pratama Tirza Surya S, S.Tr.T., M.Sc from Department of Civil Engineering, Hanif Ilmawan, S.T., M.Eng. from the Department of Earth Technology, and Dr. Umar Taufik, S.Kom., M.Cs. as the Manager of International Relations Vocational College UGM.
“This activity is very interesting because it can gather all construction stakeholders, including regulators, owners, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and even the academics. Vocational College UGM has successfully displayed the superior products that are ready to be implemented to answer the needs of the construction industry,” explained Hanif Ilmawan, S.T., M.Eng., Lecturer of the Department of Earth Technology.
This annual activity was initiated by Indonesia’s Ministry of Public Works and Housing that is expected to be a gathering opportunity for major construction stakeholders to build a professional, efficient, competitive National Construction Services Business in the national market, to be able to host in our own country and take part in achieving international market.
