The Field Research Center (FRC) is a Universitas Gadjah Mada Learning Center under the Sekolah Vokasi, located in Kulon Progo Regency. FRC serves as a bridge between academic research and the real-world needs of the community and industry through an upstream-to-downstream integration approach. Institutionally, FRC is mandated to develop production technologies, post-harvest management for strategic commodities, high-value product diversification, and the commercialization of research into pilot and industrial scales. As a catalyst for the innovation ecosystem, FRC collaborates with the Kulon Progo Regency Government, schools, and industry through collaborative research, training, and technological assistance to enhance local competitiveness and sustainable social impact in alignment with the Tri Dharma of Higher Education.
