Center of Excellence (CoE) Business Development

The Center of Excellence in Business Development (CoE BD), Universitas Gadjah Mada, serves as a center for business and creative economy development based on knowledge and data. It supports education, applied research, and community engagement within the School of Vocational Studies and across disciplines. CoE BD provides support in business planning and evaluation, market research, data and statistical analysis, as well as facilitation of discussions and collaboration, to encourage informed decision-making, business development, and policy formulation relevant to the needs of the university, industry, government, and society.

Vision:

To become a center of excellence in business and creative economy development based on knowledge and data, playing a strategic role in supporting vocational education, applied research, and community engagement through cross-disciplinary collaboration and multi-stakeholder partnerships.

  2. To provide support and facilities for business analysis, market research, and data and statistical processing for educational, research, and community engagement activities.

Facilities

Statistic Computer Room

The Statistic Computer Room is a key facility supporting data analysis, market research, and business studies. It is equipped with five computers installed with statistical and data analysis software, including EVIEWS, STATA, SPSS, and NVIVO. All equipment is well maintained and available for use by the academic community of the School of Vocational Studies and Universitas Gadjah Mada for educational, research, and community engagement purposes.

Discussion Room

The Discussion Room functions as a space for discussion and collaboration to support academic and non-academic activities. It is equipped with two long tables, twelve chairs, a whiteboard, a projector, and a storage cabinet for meeting and discussion needs. This facility is used for meetings, group discussions, focus group discussions (FGD), and activities related to idea development and business strategy formulation. All furniture and room conditions are well maintained and suitable for use.
