Yogyakarta, August 21, 2025 – The Applied Veterinary Technology Undergraduate Program, Sekolah Vokasi Universitas Gadjah Mada (SV UGM) held an Inauguration and Oath-Taking Ceremony for Veterinary Paramedics in the Ballroom on the 2nd floor of the TILC Building. This event marked the inauguration of 54 graduates as professional veterinary paramedics who are ready to take on responsibilities in the field of animal health and animal husbandry.

The event, which took place at the UGM Center for Environmental Studies Building, 4th Floor, Room 407C, was attended by academics, students from both universities, and river conservation communities from the Special Region of Yogyakarta and surrounding areas.

The event, which took place at the Teaching Industry Learning Center (TILC) SV UGM, was attended by students, lecturers, industry partners, and related parties from the forestry sector.

Sekolah Vokasi UGM Holds Kick-off & Synchronization of the Fabrication Program for Appropriate Smart-Agri Facilities at Farmer Scale with BAPPERIDA Kulon Progo

Kulon Progo, January 22, 2025 – Melon production in Kulon Progo Regency still faces challenges due to limited land availability and dependence on weather conditions, leading to an imbalance between production and market demand. On the other hand, the national melon market has a large market size without sufficient supply to meet it. To address this, the Center of Excellence (CoE) Smart-Agri Field Research Center (FRC) collaborates with the CoE Medical Devices and Fabrication Lab & Plant (CoE Fablab) and the CoE Smart System Sekolah Vokasi UGM to initiate a melon development program using a smart agriculture system based on Greenhouse (GH) to enhance long-term sustainable productivity.

Yosephus Ardean Kurnianto Prayitno, S.T., M.Eng. from the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Sekolah Vokasi, Universitas Gadjah Mada (SV UGM), conducted a field survey with the Gisik Pranaji Farmers Group located in Bugel Village, Panjatan Sub-district, Kulon Progo Regency.

Yogyakarta, 28 October 2024 – Prof. Dr.-Ing. Ir. Agus Maryono, IPM. ASEAN.Eng., Dean of the Vocational School, Gadjah Mada University (UGM), has been invited as an expert speaker at the UNESCO Regional Capacity Development Workshop which took place in Bangkok, Thailand, from 28 October to 1 November 2024. This workshop focuses on the Whole-School Approach (WSA) for Global Citizenship Education (GCED) to support the achievement of the United Nations (UN) Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
