Australia,  July 10, 2025 – The Dean of Sekolah Vokasi Universitas Gadjah Mada, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Ir. Agus Maryono, IPM., ASEAN Eng., paid a official visit to the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Canberra. The visit took place from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and was attended by representatives from the Indonesian Embassy and the Indonesian Education Attaché in Australia.

Yogyakarta, July 9, 2025 – Sekolah Vokasi Universitas Gadjah Mada hosted the official opening ceremony of the World Friends Korea PAS Youth Volunteer 2025 program at the Ballroom of the Teaching Industry Learning Center (TILC), SV UGM. Yogyakarta, July 4, 2025 — Sekolah Vokasi Universitas Gadjah Mada (SV UGM) welcomed a visit from the Head of the National Archives of the Republic of Indonesia (ANRI), Dr. Mega Pinandito, M.Eng., along with other ANRI delegations. The visit aimed to strengthen synergy between vocational education and the development of a robust national archiving system. The event took place in Room 201, 2nd Floor of the Teaching Industry Learning Center (TILC) building, and was warmly received by SV UGM leadership and faculty members of the Applied Bachelor’s Degree Program in Archives and Records Management (PARI).

Gunungkidul, July 2025 — Lecturers from the Travel and Tourism Business Study Program at Gadjah Mada University (UGM) have developed a tourist guide for use by local guides on the “Grogol Kaloka Experience” Cultural Tour in Grogol Village, Paliyan District, Gunungkidul Regency. This guide serves as the primary resource for local guides accompanying participants in the 2025 Road to Jogja International Kite Festival (JIKF) during the two-hour cultural tour.

Jakarta, July 1, 2025 — The Dean of Sekolah Vokasi Universitas Gadjah Mada (SV UGM), Professor Dr. Ing. Ir. Agus Maryono, attended the Coordinating Meeting on Vocational Education and Industry Partnerships organized by the Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Culture (Kemenko PMK) at its main office in Jakarta. This meeting aimed to strengthen collaboration among the business and industrial sectors, higher education institutions, and government in supporting the development of national human resources.

Ir. Agus Maryono, IPM., ASEAN Eng., along with Dr. Endang Soelistiyowati, M.Pd., Vice Dean for Cooperation and Alumni, welcomed delegations from JSUT at SV UGM Teaching Industry Learning Center. Yogyakarta, June 24, 2025 — The Vocational College of Universitas Gadjah Mada (SV UGM) has once again reaffirmed its commitment to expanding international partnerships through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and Implementation Agreement with Melody Publishing Co., Ltd., a leading publishing company from Taiwan. The signing ceremony took place on Friday, June 20, 2025, at 5:00 PM (WIB) in Room 201, TILC Building, SV UGM.

Sekolah Vokasi Universitas Gadjah Mada (SV UGM), in collaboration with ClarityEnglish, successfully held an international seminar titled “Developing Students’ 5th Skill in English: Educational Technology & ‘In-Depth’ Learning in EFL” on May 8, 2025. The event brought together over 30 institutional representatives, including universities, schools, and organizations engaged in English language education.

Yogyakarta, 19th May 2025 – A total of 25 students from the Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS), along with 2 teachers, engaged in a profound cross-cultural experience as part of the Short Term Immersion Programme SUSS x SV UGM. This program, a collaboration between SUSS and Sekolah Vokasi Universitas Gadjah Mada (SV UGM), spanned nine days from May 8 to 16, 2025. The activity is part of the Interdisciplinary Global Learning Course (NIE351), which carried the theme “Discovering the Power of Storytelling for Self-Development and Community Building.”
