Fabrication Laboratory and Medical Device
Many research findings from Vocational College and Universitas Gadjah Mada require a downstream process to produce the prototypes/findings. As a center for downstream research with Fabrication Laboratory and Medical Device, FRC is ready to collaborate with researchers from Vocational College and Universitas Gadjah Mada.
One of the focuses of this laboratory is the development of a Patient Simulator & Phantom for Medical Nursing Production and various kinds of medical devices that are mostly imported from foreign countries. Collaborating with researchers in Universitas Gadjah Mada will strengthen independence in the availability of medical devices. In addition, this laboratory could accommodate the production and manufacture of products from other fields such as agricultural technology, animal husbandry, forestry, health, automation, and many more.
FRC is located in Kulon Progo Regency. It carries a vast potential of cooperation in the manufacturing sector with stakeholders, especially the local government, community, and industry in the Kulon Progo area.
