Yogyakarta (27/10), Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) Malaysia and Vocational College Universitas Gadjah Mada (SV UGM) have agreed to collaborate by signing the MoA which is held via virtual platform. At this meeting, Vocational College was represented by Dr.-Ing. Ir. Agus Maryono as The Dean of SV UGM, Dr. Silvi Nur Oktalina, S.Hut., M.Si as Vice Dean for Research, Community Service and International Affairs, Head of Department and Lecturers of Department of Languages, Arts and Culture Management. Meanwhile, the representatives of UiTM were Dean of Faculty of Information Management Prof. Dr. Muhammad Noorman Masyrik, and the Vice Dean Dr. Mad Khir Johari, and other colleagues.
Dr. Mad Khir Johari said in his speech that he was very proud and happy because the collaboration between SV UGM and UiTM had been established. He hopes that this collaboration will continue to play an important role in the development of the field of information management in Malaysia and Indonesia. He also wants more academic, research, and human capital development programs to be implemented for the community.
Dean of SV UGM, Dr.-Ing. Ir. Agus Maryono, also feels very proud because the program that will be developed is similar to the program that will be implemented at SV UGM. There are three things that will be mutually agreed upon in the collaboration, those are student exchange, lecturer exchange, and bridging program for doctoral student candidates. He hopes the vice dean who takes the responsibility of International Affairs will soon be focused on implementing these programs.
