The FRC building is located at Jl. Tunjungan. PBUSMAK is a pathway for high school / vocational / MA graduates with the best 25% report card scores in their school. The PBUB is opened for graduates who have achievements in the fields of sports and science and technology. Meanwhile, prospective students who are academically capable but not economically capable can register through the PBUTM route. All important requirements and dates related to PMB UGM can be accessed at um.ugm.ac.id.
In addition to the report card, prospective students can also register through the UGM Written Examination (UTUL). Prospective UTUL UGM participants register online at the official website um.ugm.ac.id and choose three study programs of interest. The requirement for prospective UTUL UGM participants is to take part in the 2020 UTBK. The last route to be accepted as a UGM Vocational School student is the Value Path. In this pathway, prospective students are selected based on the results of UGM UTUL scores + UTBK scores. In the final path of PMB SV UGM, participants can choose two study programs at Vocational College UGM.
Vocational College UGM is the only faculty that provides vocational education at Universitas Gadjah Mada. Apart from excelling in the curriculum because it is based on industry needs, SV UGM also excels in encouraging students’ soft skills. The achievements of SV UGM students managed to become the overall champion in the Indonesian Electric Car Competition. In addition, SV UGM also continues to establish relationships with universities abroad to realize dual degree programs, student exchanges, and other international projects.

Yogyakarta (8/11) – The UGM Electric Car Team “Yacaranda” represents UGM in this year’s national competition. The Yacaranda Team consists of students from the Department of Mechanical Engineering of Vocational College UGM, the Department of Electrical Engineering and Informatics of Vocational College UGM, the Department of Earth Technology of Vocational College UGM, the Department of Health Information and Services of Vocational College UGM and the Faculty of Mathematics and Sciences Alam UGM. This team entered the competition with a new car, namely: Super Sekip EV-3. This third-generation car is the successor of the first and second generations, namely the EV-1 in 2017 made it into the top 6 of the 2017 KMLI National, and the EV-2 in 2018 won 3rd place in the 2018 KMLI of the accuracy category.
The significant improvements brought to the Super Sekip EV-3 are:
- The source of energy. EV-3 uses an energy source from an LTO (Lithium Titanate Oxide) battery with substantial advantages compared to Li-Ion (EV-2) and Accu (EV-1). It can withstand temperatures from – 20oC to 80oC
- The monitoring system. EV-3 uses an IoT (Internet of Things) based monitoring system. IoT users can easily access or monitor the condition of the battery voltage, temperature controller, battery temperature, and car speed by using a smartphone.

On November 8, 2019, the launching of Super Sekip EV-3 to KMLI 2019 was attended by Dr. R. Suharyadi, M.Sc. As the Director of Student Affairs of UGM, Wikan Sakarinto, S.T., M.Sc., Ph.D., as the Dean of Vocational College UGM, Dr. Benediktus Tulung Prayoga, S.T., M.T. as the Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering and his staff. This event went smoothly under Mr. Sugiyanto, S.T., M.Eng., and Mr. Isworo Djati, S.T. The Yacaranda Team succeeded in making their third-generation car, namely the Super Sekip EV-3.
The Yacaranda Team needs massive support from everyone to win the Indonesian Electric Cars competition (Kompetisi Mobil Listrik Indonesia/KMLI) 2019 held from 14 to 16 November 2019 at Politeknik Negeri Bandung.
